Why Are We Here?

Let's imagine that this is the time before you were put into a body. Allah has us gathered in a place without time and without space together and says, "My dear lovers. I am going to give you a most unique gift. As you see, I have created infinitely diverse and changing universes. I wish to participate in this which I have created as part of the creation. I have therefore chosen each of you to experience this as my representatives. I will give each of you a unique form, and place you on the Earth to experience Me. You will have families, relations, joys and sorrows. This is all part of Me. You will see Me behind everything- every fence, every friend, every enemy, every tree, and every sunset- there I will be.

I will experience this through a heart which I will give you. It is your life-line to Me. Do you understand what I am telling you?"

"Yes," we answered, "But what is a tree? What is a sunset? What is joy and sorrow?"

"I am going to show you, dear ones. Now before I place you in your forms, tell me: am I your God?"

"Of course you are God. How can there be any other?"

"Yes. Well, I want you all to witness that you are telling me that there is no other God but Me. Will you remember Me as you experience this as My representatives?"

"Of course. How could we forget? Are we not your lovers?"

"Good. Now, one more thing I want you to remember: Wherever you put your thoughts, that is where your energies will remain. If you keep your thoughts on Me, I will be with you. If you put your thoughts in the world of form, that is where your energies will remain. You will become caught in the Wheel of Things That are Always Changing. And you will have great difficulty coming back to Me. Do you understand?"

"Sure, we understand. We are not to forget you. We are to Remember you and practice Remembering you. And we are not to believe in the Wheel of Change."

"Very Good. Strap on your parachutes. It's going to be a bumpy flight..."
